Cyndi Kness graduated from Refuge for Women in January of 2018. Cyndi also chose to complete the Refuge for Women Aftercare program and then entered into a host family sponsored by one of our Church Partners, Oasis Baptist Church. Cyndi lived with her host family for three months while she made some final preparations. After graduation while in the Refuge Aftercare Program, Cyndi completed her CNA schooling and passed the Nevada State Board for CNA certification. She then began working full time for DelMar Gardens as a CNA. After a few months, Cyndi had the opportunity to move back home to North Dakota, where she has been reunited with her children and grandchildren. Cyndi is on the move once again as her daughter’s family is relocating to Florida and they have invited Cyndi to move with them. Once settled in Florida, Cyndi will be transferring her CNA license to Florida and continuing on with her career of serving people.
