Standing firm in the Lord is a very important part of my walk with God. After a couple months of being at the Refuge for Women, I finally grasped what God’s love for me was, all of the promises that He gives me, and who I am in Christ.  It’s a very important part for me because I have to know who I am in Him, not who I used to be.

I am a lavishly loved child of God.

Knowing who I am makes me strong in the Lord, He being the One giving me strength. I am nothing by my own doing. Now I feel like I can stand firm in Him in any situation, because He promised me He will never leave me or forsake me.
