July 2012 Prayer Report

July 2012 Prayer Report

The purpose of Independence Day is to commemorate the “Declaration of Independence” on July 4, 1776.  What kinds of things come to mind when you think of Independence Day?  Freedom, battles won and lives lost, bloodshed, families torn apart, celebrations, fireworks.  Freedom isn’t always free.

One of the programs our guests at the Refuge go through is “the steps to FREEDOM IN CHRIST” by Neil T. Anderson.  This program will help our guests to Resolve Personal and Spiritual Conflicts, Break Free from Bondage, Renew their Minds and Experience Daily Victory as a Child of God.

“For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17

“Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.” Rom 6:18

Let’s Pray NOW!

Almighty Loving Father God, we Praise you and adore you!  Thank you for your abundant provision!

Lord, we have seen you work in the lives of the guests we serve and we ask that you continue to break the bondage holding them captive, heal them, restore them and make them new, by the power of your Spirit! Lord we thank you for providing volunteers and teachers and ask that you bless them and their families for their time and commitment to serve.  We ask that you continue to guide and lead this ministry to where YOU want it to go.  We trust you and want to obey you.  Increase our faith in you and what you can do.  For we know that without you, we can do nothing, but with you, with your power, we can do all things!  “All glory to Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us.” (Rev. 1:5).  Thank you that your TRUTH sets us free!  We pray all these things in the powerful life-saving name of Jesus Christ, our King!  Amen!
