As 2012 draws to a close and the Christmas season is upon us; let us pause to thank God for the most blessed year so far… we can reflect back on the many events and blessings we have had in the ministry and most important “Personally”. May God continue to richly bless and protect all of us as this year draws to an end.
I want to thank Pastors Raymond and Jodi Quintana for the wonderful “Women’s Tea” that was held at the Spring Valley Country Club for Refuge for Women. They are Pastors at the Word of Life Christian Center in Lexington. This year was the 7th annual Women’s Tea put on by the Word of Life Christian Center and what a fabulous occasion it was...From the moment you walked in to the room you could see the excellence in the occasion, with the candles and the place settings with cheese, vegetable trays all filled; all varieties of cookies and goodies on the tables. Not only that but the Ladies were served all types of finger foods and h’ordeurves by the men dressed in white and black! We also want to thank the ladies who was over the silent auction…they did an excellent job and earned the Ministry great contributions! You know they poured their heart and soul into organizing and pulling off a great auction…Thanks again for their help.
There was entertainment of Christmas songs, duets by 2 amazing singers and keyboard player from the Word of Life Christian Center. There also was a great dance and solo performed by 2 women from the song “Alabaster Box” that brought tears and cheers to the evening.
Jewellan Morrison the Program Director spoke about the ministry and the work it is doing…she gave statistics about the porn and sex entertainment industry and how many success stories have already been made…knowing that it is only the beginning of many lives to be transformed…and as we know our Father in heaven is the business of making Beauty out of Ashes!
Pauline was so gracious to give her testimony and shared intently her life and why she pours her life and soul into the ministry…powerful testimony that everyone needs to hear!!! Pastor Jodi closed the evening down by speaking about the life of Mary our Lord and Savior’s Mother and how it must have been in the life of the young mother having a baby that would one day deliver her from the Sins of the World.
Looking forward to next year!!! Thanks again for a great evening and a wonderful event!!!
