EVENING/WEEKEND SHIFT LEADER (PART-TIME)

The Shift Leader works in the safe house during the assigned shift to maintain a safe healing environment for residents and provide consistent operations by upholding the program model and resident guidelines. The successful applicant will maintain strong leadership in any situation, including conflict resolution, crisis response and handling difficult relational dynamics. This person will communicate effectively with residents and hold them accountable as they progress through the program and learn successful life skills. Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is helpful. Familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery) is desired.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR ASSISTANT (FULL TIME)

The Program Director Assistant reports to the Program Director and assists with all duties related to running the program and day-to-day safe house activities. The successful candidate will cultivate a strong partnership with Program Director to create and maintain a consistent, stable and safe environment. Primary duties will involve setting up and maintaining the administrative systems necessary to support effective program operations including scheduling, intake/discharge of residents, inventory and assisting the Program Director in staff meetings and training. In addition, this position will maintain strong leadership in any situation, including conflict resolution, crisis response and handling difficult relational dynamics. Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and hold them accountable as they progress through the program and learn successful life skills in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Refuge for Women. Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is very helpful, as is familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery).
