PROGRAM DIRECTOR - FULL TIME

The Program Director oversees and directs staffing, administration and execution of all aspects of the program and safe house operations in accordance with the mission, values and goals of Refuge for Women. Supervises program staff and volunteers to help conduct and coordinate day-to-day program and safe house activities with the residents. Model healthy and loving relational boundaries in a home environment as residents heal and learn successful life skills. Successful candidates should have strong written and verbal communication, strong project management, servant leadership and team work skills and be able to adapt to frequently changing priorities and handle crisis situation. Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work or related field is desired. License (or working toward licensing) in counseling or related human services field is preferred. 3-5 years of experience working with women in recovery is also preferred. Completion of a 12-step or similar healing and recovery program is helpful.

WEEKEND SHIFT LEADER (Part-Time)

The Shift Leader works in the safe house during the assigned shift to maintain a safe healing environment for residents and provide consistent operations by upholding the program model and resident guidelines. The successful applicant will maintain strong leadership in any situation, including conflict resolution, crisis response and handling difficult relational dynamics. This person will communicate effectively with residents and hold them accountable as they progress through the program and learn successful life skills. Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is helpful. Familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery) is desired.
