Central Kentucky

TARGETED CASE MANAGER (PART-TIME)

Targeted Case Management (TCM) consists of services that help clients gain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. This includes direct assistance in gaining access to services, coordination of care, oversight of the entire case, and linkage to appropriate services. Case Management includes: (1) assessment of the eligible client to determine service needs; (2) development of an individualized integrated care plan; (3) referral and related activities to help the client obtain needed services; (4) monitoring and follow-up; and (5) evaluation.  TCM must have at least a bachelor of arts or science degree in a behavioral science including:  Psychology, Sociology, Social work, or Family studies; and at least one year of full-time employment experience working directly with adults in a human service setting. This position requires the employee to frequently engage in speaking on the phone, computer skills, filing, public speaking, and flexibility in schedule. In addition, Case Managers must be able to drive clients using an agency vehicle to meet contacts, group meetings, court dates, and other appointments.  This position will work with adult female clients in both in-patient and outpatient settings.

The Shift Leader works in the safe house during the assigned shift to maintain a safe healing environment for residents and provide consistent operations by upholding the program model and resident guidelines. The successful applicant will maintain strong leadership in any situation, including conflict resolution, crisis response and handling difficult relational dynamics. This person will communicate effectively with residents and hold them accountable as they progress through the program and learn successful life skills. Knowledge of addict behaviors and trauma is helpful. Familiarity with 12-step or similar healing and recovery program (e.g. Celebrate Recovery) is desired.

southern nevada


program director (full-time)

The Program Director oversees and directs staffing, administration and execution of all aspects of the program and safe house operations in accordance with the mission, values and goals of Refuge for Women. This position will supervise program staff and volunteers and model healthy and loving relational boundaries in a home environment as residents heal and learn successful life skills. Primary responsibilities include reviewing applications and conducting interviews with potential residents, directing the intake process and overseeing probation period of new residents, directing programming and scheduling of day-to-day activities with the residents, leading classes, teaching, coaching and counseling the residents as they progress through required program components. Successful candidates should have strong written and verbal communications skills, strong project management, servant leadership and teamwork skills and an ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and handle crisis situations. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in counseling, social work or related field (preferred but will consider related experience), certification or experience working with women in recovery from addictions (e.g. CR, AA, 12-step program), demonstrated understanding and implementation of trauma-informed, recovery-oriented therapeutic practices and a willingness to engage in ongoing training in trauma informed practices, mental health and/or recovery issues
